Another success for Uzbekistan's sabre fencers.

The sabre fencers of the Uzbekistan national team have concluded their participation in the U20 World Cup stage. At the competition held in Hungary, our athletes earned silver medals in the team event.

The Uzbek sportswomen started their competition with a victory over one of their strong opponents - a fencer from the Republic of Korea. They then defeated the Polish team in the quarter-finals and the British team in the semi-finals. However, in the final, luck was on the side of the hosts of the tournament, with a score of 45:42.

Representing our country in the team event were Gulistan Perdibaeva, who secured a silver medal in the individual category, as well as Fernanda Herrera, Samira Shokirova, and Ayakuz Jumamuratova. Unfortunately, in the boys' competition held in Germany, our compatriots finished their performance at the quarter-final stage.
