Uzbekistan's master of sports photojournalism, Anvar Ilyasov, won a silver medal at an international photography competition.

In Baku (Azerbaijan), the International Association of Artistic Photography (IAAP) and the "Gilavar Photo Club of Azerbaijan" organized a competition for photojournalists who covered the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. Anwar Ilyasov, a master of sports photojournalism from Uzbekistan, participated in this photo contest with his work titled "Conquer Paris" and was awarded a silver medal.

It is worth noting that A. Ilyasov was part of the Uzbek delegation at 7 Summer Olympic Games and 6 Summer Asian Games, and he is the author of historic photographs capturing unforgettable moments of our athletes. This international award marks his fourth achievement. Previously, our compatriot won gold and bronze at the "Energy of Victory" competition in Moscow in 2015 and 2018, and he also received a special prize at the wrestling world exhibition in Sofia in 2016.
