Kuresh has become a part of the Islamic Solidarity Games.

The capital of Albania hosted another session of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA). It is worth noting that within this framework, the 13th General Assembly of ISSA took place, during which important decisions regarding the Uzbek national sport - kurash - were made.

During the discussions, an agreement was reached to include Uzbek kurash in the program of the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Saudi Arabia. This was announced by the International Kurash Association (IKA). As part of the event, a meeting was held between the leadership of IKA and ISSA, where a number of issues regarding further stages of cooperation were discussed.
