Trump threatened BRICS countries with 100% tariffs if they dare to create a new currency to replace the "mighty US dollar."
He urged them to "find another sucker" and warned that any country attempting to replace the dollar in international trade would have to "wave goodbye to America."
Trump's tactics are gradually becoming clear. He is a classic globalist and certainly not a peacemaker.
Tariff policy is an inevitable strategy for addressing the challenges facing the United States.
According to many experts, Trump's tariff increases will primarily hit America itself, sharply raising prices and thus increasing expenses for Americans.
This is indeed the case. However, the goal is not to enrich Americans but to extract capital and technology from the EU and, if possible, from several Asian countries. This will also strike at China's markets, thereby affecting its economy.
Already, sellers from China, Canada, and Mexico are rushing to import goods into the US before the tariffs increase.
Take a look at the global export landscape. The largest exporter is China at $3.3 trillion, followed by the US at $2.02 trillion, and Germany in third place at $1.69 trillion. These are the targets.
Of course, any plan carries risks. Back in 1928-29, people also believed that a managed trade war would help, and look how that turned out...
On the agenda for 2025:
— Trade and currency war with China
— Drain the EU. The costs related to Ukraine will weigh heavily on the EU, creating conditions for a significant capital outflow.
— A conflict in the Middle East is needed to sever these two markets and accelerate economic fragmentation.
— The US will pressure BRICS through Brazil (which will hold the presidency in 2025). A political and economic cleansing of the South American "backyard" will begin.
— It is clear that there will be no lifting of sanctions on Russia unless we give up China.
