Training sessions for deputy khokims of districts (cities), heads of organizational and personnel groups, and candidates included in the National Personnel Reserve were held at Navoi State University.
The seminar participants met with the khokim of Navoi region, Normat Tursunov, who emphasized the need to enhance knowledge and skills for further improvement of public service activities. To achieve this, managerial staff must increase their competence, sense of responsibility, ability to listen to people, and maintain high standards for themselves, ensuring quality completion of each assigned task, regularly visiting residents, and taking measures to address their issues.
Over four days, professors and teachers from higher educational institutions in the republic, along with experienced specialists, provided insights into new directions in work, taking into account current realities, focusing on what needs attention when addressing community problems, as highlighted by the head of state during his visit to Navoi region on October 31 - November 1 of this year and during meetings with the regional leadership.
The seminar also discussed the implementation of experiences from Saykhunabad, Uych, Gijduvan, and Zarbdar regarding the organization of programs aimed at developing an innovative economy, service sector, and entrepreneurship, ensuring employment, and reducing poverty through the adoption of modern and effective methods of working within the "mahallabay" system.
Lectures and discussions were held on priority tasks, the resolution of which would help ensure a socially and spiritually stable environment in mahallas, as well as on the specific issues of religiosity and radicalism.
Additionally, practical training sessions were conducted on topics such as improving conditions for women, implementing measures to achieve gender equality, protecting women and children from violence, identifying key areas for enhancing the economic potential of regions, establishing large-scale production, and integrating advanced foreign experiences in this field, addressing youth issues and finding solutions, working with youth in migration, unemployment solutions, delivering social services at the mahalla level, creating a comfortable environment for people with disabilities, providing housing for the population, developing and approving urban planning documents, enhancing transport and tourism infrastructure, and implementing modern mechanisms to combat corruption in government bodies and organizations.
In the concluding part, the khokim of the region presented certificates to the participants for successfully completing the practical training seminar.
