IX European Film Festival: three days of enchanting European cinema.

From November 29 to December 1, the National Palace of Cinematic Arts "Panorama" invites you to the IX European Film Festival, organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan with the support of the Cinematography Agency. This festival, marking the 30th anniversary of EU-Uzbekistan cooperation, promises to be a vibrant celebration of cultural exchange and a symbol of friendship between our nations.

November 29:
- 11:00 – “Mermaids Don’t Cry” (Austria) – a contemporary fairy tale about self-discovery.
- 14:00 – “Imad’s Childhood” (Sweden, Iraq, Latvia) – a documentary film about a boy who experienced war.
- 19:00 – “The Naked Truth About the 'Zhiguli' Band” (Bulgaria) – a touching comedy about second chances.

November 30:
- 11:00 – “Luxembourg, Luxembourg” (Ukraine) – a story about brothers and their complex relationship.
- 14:00 – “Lola” (Ireland) – a documentary about sisters who invent a device to intercept radio signals from the future.
- 19:00 – “A Man Without Guilt” (Slovenia) – a drama about forgiveness and redemption.

December 1:
- 11:00 – “First Snow” (Finland) – a story of a refugee family fighting for their right to asylum.
- 14:00 – “Trained to See: Three Women and War” (Germany) – a documentary about female correspondents during World War II.
- 19:00 – “Dangerous Gentlemen” (Poland) – a witty crime comedy.

All films will be shown in their original language with subtitles, allowing for a complete immersion into the atmosphere of the films and an appreciation of the unique flavor of each national culture.
