In November, prices for secondary housing experienced a slight increase, as reported by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms.
The average growth across Uzbekistan was 0.3%, with prices in the Namangan region rising by 3.1% (to $491), and in Surkhandarya by 2.6% ($443). Meanwhile, apartments in Andijan and Syrdarya regions saw a decrease of 4.5% and 2.2% ($538 and $409), respectively.
Over the year, real estate prices increased by 6.2%. The highest growth was noted in Surkhandarya (+18%), Bukhara ($558, +11.9%), and Kashkadarya regions ($426, +10.2%), while prices in Andijan and Navoi regions fell by 0.8%.
Apartments in Tashkent became cheaper by 1.5% over the year, even considering a slight increase in November (+0.2%). However, the average price per square meter remains the highest in the country at $1102.
In terms of districts within the capital, the most significant rise in housing prices occurred in the Bektemir district (+4.4%). This was followed by Yashnabad (+2.4%) and Shaykhontohur (+2.2%) districts.
In the past month, Uzbeks signed nearly 22,000 real estate purchase agreements. Market activity increased by 2.5% compared to October, although the annual growth was notably more modest at 0.8%.
Demand for housing in the Khorezm region surged by over 15%. Next is Tashkent with a growth of 9.3%, followed by Bukhara region (8.4%).
