The Tashkent region administration has announced the allocation of two plots of land to the Eltech Industrial technopark. The head of the region, Zoir Mirzaev, signed the corresponding decision on December 16.

The technopark's management will receive non-agricultural land for permanent use in the territories of the Akhangaran and Alisher Navoi massifs in the Akhangaran district. The total area will amount to 106 hectares.

The customer has been tasked with organizing the reconfiguration of engineering communications on the new plots at their own expense. Additionally, they will need to place orders for the development of architectural design assignments.

Eltech Industrial was established based on the Ohangaron Tech Industrial park following the president's decree in January. The complex is planned to be expanded by 214 hectares to accommodate new projects for the processing of copper and rare earth metals, as well as the production of electrical equipment.

That same decree restricted the import of televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, radiators, and some other electrical appliances into Uzbekistan. It became mandatory for manufacturers or official dealers to have authorized service centers.

The general plan for the technopark envisions its division into 19 lots, of which 15 have been sold through online auctions. Construction work is already underway on three plots, while preparations are ongoing for the remaining ones.
