On December 11, Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the presentation of projects for construction and landscaping, as reported by the presidential press service.

During the meeting, it was noted that the Yunusabad farmers' market is thriving; however, its further expansion is hindered by a lack of space. As a result, a decision was made to develop the market according to a modern concept—"upwards," increasing retail space and enhancing infrastructure.

According to the project, a three-story eco-market will be built on the site of the existing market while preserving its traditional appearance. An additional shopping center and a jewelry house will be located nearby.

Under the buildings, an underground parking facility will be established, accommodating more than a thousand cars. The project is expected to create 4,000 to 5,000 new jobs. The president has instructed to organize phased construction so that the market can remain operational.

Another project focuses on enhancing parks and creating new recreational areas. In the Abdulla Qadiri Park in Tashkent, plans are underway to increase green space and establish walking areas, fountains, a new planetarium, and a gastro-hall to attract tourists.

Moreover, the "Duzlik" park will also be renovated and is expected to become a modern recreational spot. Walking paths, water features, and relaxation zones will be reconstructed, and new benches will be installed. Additionally, a family entertainment area, a children's creativity center, a skate park, an aviary, and a Ferris wheel will be created.

To expand the facilities at the "Navruz" park, plans include the construction of a hotel, an indoor sports complex, a restaurant, and a conference hall.

Tourist centers with an eastern bazaar, craft zones, an amphitheater, fountains, and other structures will be organized near the "New Uzbekistan" parks in Nurafshan and Namangan. The area of green spaces will be increased through the planting of new trees.

Earlier, Spot reported that the president was briefed on the "Charvak Gates" and Ugam River projects in Bostanlyk.
