In Uzbekistan, a "beautiful" vehicle registration number was sold for 472.9 million soms, according to data from the commodity exchange. To complete the transaction, the buyer must make payment and register the license plate with the traffic police.

On December 18, 732 vehicle registration numbers were sold for 4.99 billion soms. The minimum price was 1.9 million soms, while the average price was 6.8 million soms.

The most expensive "beautiful" license plate was sold on March 28, purchased by a legal entity from Tashkent for 517.1 million soms.

Compared to the starting price, the cost increased by two-thirds. In second place is a license plate that was purchased on July 10 for 508 million soms. On August 6, a "beautiful" number was sold for 404 million soms, on September 6 for 351 million soms, on November 7 for 408.4 million soms, and on December 5 for 474 million soms.

In 2023, 87,000 license plates were sold at UzRTSB for 396.1 billion soms. The most expensive "beautiful" license plate was purchased by a legal entity for 450 million soms, which slightly exceeded the record set in 2021.

Over the nine months of this year, the sales volume of vehicle registration numbers on the commodity exchange increased by 2.6 times to 620 billion soms.
