The Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange (UzRVB) has announced that market data from the exchange is now accessible to Bloomberg terminal users.

With the help of the {OTC UZS} team, Bloomberg clients can access quotes and indicators for Uzbekistan's currency and money markets, as well as the state securities and derivatives markets.

According to UzRVB's CEO Rashid Usmanov, the collaboration with Bloomberg will provide global market participants with access to timely and accurate data from the currency exchange. He emphasized that increasing transparency and data availability will strengthen trust in the market and boost liquidity.

UzRVB data can be utilized through a Bloomberg data license and the B-PIPE real-time market data transmission channel.

Currently, the currency exchange comprises 35 commercial banks, six brokerage firms, and one foreign custodian bank.

The trading volume on UzRVB in 2023 reached $81 billion, with approximately 20 financial instruments represented across various market segments.

Additionally, last week, the stock exchange announced its launch on Bloomberg. Quotes, order books, and key trading indicators from the platform will be transmitted in real-time.
