In January of this year, Uzbekistan acquired 13 aircraft totaling $633.1 million, reports the Statistics Agency under the President.
The largest number of aircraft was purchased from Germany (6). The value of the deal was $421.7 million.
The republic also acquired 4 aircraft from Lithuania ($66.7 million). One aircraft each was purchased from France, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, with a cost of $60 million each, except for the British one, which was significantly cheaper at $18.8 million.
